Easy-to-make bookcraft ideas

Here we list some of the books that can easily be made by anyone with an interest in starting the simple and very productive hobby of bookcraft. Bookcraft is an easy hobby to learn ~ and is a useful start to the craft of bookbinding.

The books listed are given names of historical explorers or discoverers. There is no relationship between the book style and the owner of the name used as a label for the book ~ please do not waste time trying to invent links. I have chosen to use names rather than other coded labels or technical ~ bookbinding ~ terms: such as WD40 ~ Galaxy ~ Coptic ~ Longstitch

Fully illustrated instructions and detailed specifications of the named books are given by following the links. The aim is for readers to take-up ideas and develop them for themselves. In every case there are many variables that can be changed to suit individual needs or desires.

The links ~ below ~ lead to a brief sales-type description. From that page there are further links to more detailed instructions and specifications ~ and usually to a very brief biographical note on the person concerned. I am aware that some links are not very productive ~ probably because that page is planned but has not yet been written ~ apologies ~ thanks for your patience.
