Of all the tricks my bookbinding tutor passed on to me was that of avoiding measurement wherever possible. Boobinding, and other hobbied, involve a lot of careful measurement. The skilled craftsman can be produce accurate work with little resource to the ruler. There is more to come here...please be patient!
