A graphical challenge
It is deliberately vague as to what sort of result is required from this project. It is for thinking, and maybe discussion. There is no "right answer", but we can supply the reality of it if you are interested!
I was tidying my computer a while ago, and came across this image, which had been sitting in an unused folder for a long time.
A colourful graph of something to do with letters, plotted against something else ~ What? ~ Why?
I could not remember what on earth this was about, and spent quite a while trying to think about it ~ generally exercising my brain ~ why had I downloaded it? ~ is there a pattern? ~ is it relevant to something? ~ what? I did eventually recall what it all represented. Then realized it would be a good recreational challenge for anyone else who happens on this site. What are your suggestions?
You are invited to produce ideas that might "work" - based on the evidence you see, the use of colours, the scales, and anything else.
With grateful thanks to the anonymised www site that provided this graph, and to those who compiled it. We hope they do not mind the absence of a more appropriate acknowledgement ~ it would spoil the object of this exercise to supply further detail.

Do not get your hope up for any great excitement. I cannot imagine how much time was spent preparing the graph...but it was not wasted if you havehad some fun or mental exercise.
