Notes and explantion of our acroynm TAI, or tai

I sometimes use the acronym tai as a word. An explanation needs to be provided. For those who maintain acronyms have to be capitalized then I, reluctantly, occasionally, use TAI. I prefer not too, it is too strident, especially when emboldened

For many years I was a teacher of maths. Often I would expect pupils (much to their annoyance) to think about it. For those who suffered this comment, and knew its meaning, it might even appear amongst their homework, as a scribbled tai. I even though of having a rubber stamp made. But I had a tai about that, and rejected the idea.

On this hobby site I am introducing a number of questions, puzzles, topics, whatevers, that require an exercise of the little grey cells. (Thank you, Agatha Christie.) When I have enough of them, there are few of them at present, I will provide an index of them. Some of them may be of interest to teachers who need to fill in a few moments of student time to good effect.

I have looked TAI up, and see that it in some cultures it is used as a name. I hope anyone who shares that name with my ramblings, will forgive me. I mean well. Thank you.
