Italy has a reputation for fine design and production in many areas, papermaking and paper decoration being one of them. Several firms produce a wide range of good quality papers and designs. Here I introduce you to some that are sold under the trade name of 'Rossi 1931', commonly shortened to Rossi.
I first came acros the Rossi papers when on a bookbinding course a year or two ago, and quickly discovered that a fairly wide range of their patterns was available at various on-line outlets. Since then I have been able to obtain a useful variety of designs in various styles.
At the time I was looking for materials suitable for end-papers, and collected a number of small patterns, some of which are produced in several colourways.
