A book bound in the Bunsen Style
A Bunsen Book is designed to allow for items ~ photographs ~ memorabilia ~ to be attached to the pages. To enable this the hinge is padded-out with small stubs. The design and techniques can be up~or~downsized at your discretion. This particular style of construction permits quite large books from smaller sheet sizes ~ the penalty being a little extra time in construction.
The Bunsen Book is in the horizontal ~ landscape ~ format ~ and it has 32 leaves of about A5 size. It can easily be adapted to be any other size ~ shape ~ or extent.
Anyone with a knowledge of bookcraft will be able to make a Bunsen Book by studying the photographs on this page. Any craft minded person will be able to follow the short instructions which will be available [!soon!].
