The features of a Wilson Style of book are ~ the open back ~ the lack of adhesive used in manufacture ~ the separation of the sections ~ the ability to add or remove sections.
The sections are each sewn separately in the single-section manner [114352]. The several sections are securely held in place place with a separate continuous thread woven between the covers.
A wide variety of ~ sizes ~ cover types ~ extent ~ and materials is possible. The sewing technique allows for an infinite arrrangement of suitable construction possibilities ~ all within the capabilities of the beginner to bookcrafts.
