The Cuxhaven Set of Numeral Cards is a postage-paid bundle of two sets of Dresden Cards [dresden] and one set of Meissen Cards [meissen]. This comprises one each of five mathematical symbols and two of each of the ten single digit numerals ~ 25 cards in all. These various sets are more fully described under the title of the Elbe Set [cards/elbe]. There are also links to suggestions for the use of the cards.
The name Cuxhaven is chosen for convenience. At one stage I called this set of cards 'Set05' but I soon got muddled with that ~ not least because Set 05 was a bundle of Set00 plus two lots of Set01. Now... 0+2=2 ...but...Set 02 was already used as a label for another group. Instead I renamed everything and chose to use the names of town and cities appropriate to the river Elbe, since Elbe is the name for the main group of numeral cards sold in our sister site at busybusy.shop [buy elbe cards].
For convenience several of our sets are priced postage paid and the Cuxhaven set is one of them. It makes a good starter set and just fits into the Letter Post range ~ which cuts the overall cost down considerably.
If you wish to know more about Cuxhaven then the WWW has a wealth of historical and recent information and imagery. I have chosen a picture that is out of copyright, and which demonstrates that Cuxhaven is where the Elbe finally meets the North Sea. That Cuxhaven is at one end of the Elbe has no significance to the set of cards ~ just as Koenigstein has no particular relevance by being much nearer the beginning of that very long river. (Our Koenigstein Set is under development ~ not yet available.)
